New Nevermet Press Art

I’ve been continuing the artwork for Nevermet Press this past week and then some, but I haven’t had a chance to post anything until now. These went live on the website a few days ago, but anyway here they are. (I decided to do color for these this time, though on the site they ended up monochrome. Oh well.)

The first one is called The Bastion of the Hidden Kingdom. It’s basically a haunted manor in the city-state of Corwyn (from my previous post). You can read more of it’s description on its website.

Next is a character named Scar, a kind of undead guy with a revenge thing going. Again, it probably makes more sense attached to the story.

I’m working on 3 more pictures for Nevermet Press at the moment, so I’ll be able to post them as soon as I finish. It’s a pretty cool project, and it’s starting to pick up in popularity. Hopefully I’m doing my part well enough.

The City State of Corwyn

I’ve gotten back to doing some fantasy artwork recently, and I ended up getting involved with a new publisher called Nevermet Press. They’re publishing system non-specific RPG products, and I’m one of the artists producing some work for them. It’s fun, and my first piece went up today at this site. You can read the story behind the picture there.

Hobo Dwarf

I felt like drawing a dwarf. And I thought I would do more than just doodle, so I decided to change this Norman Rockwell painting into a dwarf. Instead of a dog, there’s a dragon-like thing. Instead of a newspaper, he has a treasure map, and instead of a satchel he has a bag of treasure. Oh, and of course he’s cooking raw meat instead of sausages. Good ol’ dwarfs! If I have time later I may paint it as well.

Hanamachi (The Geisha)

It’s been a long time since I made a new chicken. Too long, in fact. So it was necessary that one of my first paintings since quitting must be a chicken. Actually, I painted this last week but it’s taken this long to dry. I’m entering it into an art content this weekend, so I was able to finish it just in time. Anyway, here is the next in the Chickens of the World series: Hanamachi (The Geisha).
